ABOUT

Raw, Real, and Relentlessly Creative

purpose → process → medium → impact

Why I Create
My work explores migration, identity, memory, and social justice. I examine how histories are erased or rewritten, how people navigate spaces—both physical and psychological—and how memory is constructed. Through projects like Anatomy of a Migrant’s Shoe, which examines forced displacement, and community-driven performances, I aim to reclaim marginalized narratives and create spaces for dialogue.
How I Work
My process starts with questions rather than answers. I immerse myself in historical narratives, personal accounts, cultural motifs, and lived experiences, which evolve into sketches, mind maps, and written fragments. The process is iterative—a painting may take months of layering, while an installation emerges through material exploration. Digital projects begin with wireframes and prototypes, ensuring form follows function. I let the work evolve organically, allowing space for new discoveries. Silence and observation play a crucial role. I take long walks, collect found objects, and engage in automatic drawing or writing—allowing subconscious patterns to surface. Conversations with people from different backgrounds often shift my perspective, feeding into the work. At times, I revisit older sketches, finding unfinished dialogues that need to be extended.
The Role of Medium
I work across visual arts, performance, storytelling, and digital media, each medium serving a distinct role in shaping narratives. Painting and illustration allow for meditative detail and symbolism, while installation and performance engage audiences in immersive dialogue. Each medium carries its own weight and language. Painting creates a contemplative space through repetition. Performance allows me to embody emotions, making experiences visceral and immediate. Storytelling and media extend narratives beyond the gallery, turning abstract ideas into tangible, lived experiences. This combination bridges personal and collective histories, making room for both reflection and action.
Inspiration
I draw inspiration from oral histories, architecture, movement, and human resilience. I explore how stories are passed down through generations, how people mark their existence in transient spaces, and how borders—both visible and invisible—shape identities. Sometimes, inspiration comes from an object, a texture, or a fragment of a conversation, which I translate into visual or interactive elements—layering paint like sedimented memory or designing a digital experience that mimics the act of migration.
Impact & Connection
I don’t want to dictate emotions but rather provide a space for reflection. Some works evoke a sense of nostalgia or longing, while others confront viewers with uncomfortable truths. I want people to leave with questions, not just answers—questions about their own place in the world, their histories, and their relationship to power, memory, and movement. At its core, my work is about making the unseen visible. Whether through reclaiming forgotten histories, amplifying marginalized voices, or creating spaces for dialogue, my goal is to bridge past and present, personal and political. I want to challenge linear narratives, showing that history and identity are fluid, shaped by migration, erasure, and resilience. If my work can ignite a shift in perspective, even momentarily, then I consider it successful.

Psychology & Human Behavior
With a background in psychology, I design experiences that bridge cognition, emotion, and storytelling. One of my projects, such as DostX; a mental health support app for caregivers, integrate human-centered design principles to create impactful digital solutions and facilitate behavioral change. My work in UI/UX for mobile apps, including DostX, DishaX, and SalahX, is focused on user-centric digital interventions that enhance well-being using AI bringing digital transformation in the healthcare sector.
Systemic Renewal
My work intersects art, activism, and education to challenge narratives and reimagine systems. As a Caux Scholar, I engage in projects that foster dialogue, explore art as a medium to advocate for social change through storytelling and creative interventions. My involvement with Initiatives of Change (IofC) USA, the Systemic Renewal Program, and cross-cultural residencies has shaped my approach to social impact through creative expression.
Program Management
From leading large-scale creative projects to designing interactive learning experiences, I bring strategic direction and execution to programs that merge education, media, and design. My experience spans NGO collaborations (Roshini Foundation, Jagriti School for blind girls, Initiatives of Change, India and Initiatives of Change, USA), etc, corporate training programs, and public exhibitions. I have facilitated creative learning initiatives in international forums and led curriculum-based interventions incorporating the UN SDGs. Children as Changemakers, I help young minds explore their voices, challenge perspectives, and develop the confidence to become storytellers of change. 📩 Want to collaborate or run these programs in your school, organization, or community? My portfolio spans book design (Child Development), digital branding (UpayaaX, DostX, DishaX), and animation IP development (Warner Bros.Discovery, POGO, Hungama, Nickelodeon, ETV Bal Bharat, Sony Yay, and many more channels). I create stunning and user-friendly web designs and UI/UX that make a lasting impression and drive conversions.
Education & Facilitation
I use art as a tool for learning and engagement, designing workshops and programs for schools, corporates, and public spaces. My interactive sessions integrate visual storytelling, hands-on learning, and psychology-based facilitation. Through collaborations with platforms like Pune Biennale, Maker’s Asylum, and Goethe-Institut, I have created accessible art education programs that bridge creativity and community dialogue.
